Its so hilarious to see someone so clueless about how to handle cold weather. Once youre here, youll manage.

That's what I figured.

At -5 everything is pretty much already frozen, so another 10 or 15 degrees shouldn't make much difference?

Yeah it makes a big difference. I can usually tell the difference if it's a few degrees, like between -10 and -13 for instance. But it's mostly other factors that determine how bearable it is, stuff like wind and humidity. A humid -25 feels much worse than a dry -50 like up in northern Quebec. In the long run you start perceiving it relatively, meaning that 0 becomes actually quite comfortable, or even warmish.

I'd like to see how you Canadians would stand up to one of our 45 degree summers. :gsmile: I revel in that .

Been there, it wasn't anything more than a mild discomfort really. But then I've always liked the heat.

With it being cold most of the year here you really, really enjoy the summers. It's getting darker now, which sucks.

I grit my teeth and deal with it. It's grim up North.

That would do it for me. I spent most of my life in FL. I can't even get in a pool if it's under 80 degrees

i will tell you one thing though...you people bitch about the cold, but it really does suck living in a damn jungle...especially around the holidays. it's so sticky and muggy. baby powder is like a necessity for me so my ass crack doesn't turn into swamp butt lol. it is so hot and humid down here. i swear after just walking out of my apartment and down the stairs and getting into my car, i literally have a wet sweaty back and feel like i need a shower again. that gets old fast.

i think i'd rather bundle up in some nice winter gear...not all year round, but i mean, at least have that in the fall/winter. i would appreciate summers more i think.

you are only saying this because i'ts been a long time since you left your house in the morning and got blasted in the face with zero degree air which feels like -10 thanks to the wind chill, oh, and don't forget the 12 inches of snow on the ground. that.

its only september and it was 90 today and I'm already getting depressed about winter.
