If there are biological foundations for morality, as some scientists claims there are, it certainly predates religion. (refer to the link for a normative interpretation of what morality means) |

Hehe, well, this kind of claim usually comes from people who study other primates (I think Frans de Waal made such claims, for example)... maybe it's not surprising that it isn't a belief you hold :p
