Vortex_SA

I still don't know what you're talking about. Are you talking about key changes? Can you provide an example (e.g., an mp3 clip, youtube vid)?

Do you mean a kind of "police siren"-sounding effect?

You can do that easily with LFOs on synths or samplers.
djandymac
nah not the police siren, but i now know its LFO's that do it, sorry for the confusion ppl lol.
Zombie0729
take any synth, set the LFO sources to Sine (for now), Destination OSC1->Pitch

some synths require you use the mod wheel to trigger the LFO, play with the LFO rate or "frequency" to taste

As said before, this probably be a modulated pitch. You have to do this on a synth, Cubase hasn't really got anything to do with at. If you take a look at i.e. the Z3ta+ or the Virus C, the have a modulation matrix on which you can set a source and destination, just as Ross said, set the source on OSC(1) and the destination on pitch, that you'll have the oscilator modulation your pitch.

Stupid perhaps, but maybe you can automate the pitch??

T-Soma
Probably talking about pitch bending or glide.

Not a great question mate i ahve to say. What aspect of modulation filter envelope, pitch, index, volume its an endless list.

To modulate a sound you must have a control voltage or an LFO routed to whatever sound you wish to modulate. For example reasons malstrom had modulation sections on the top of the synth. try turning the pitch one left or right and there you have it a modulated sound. then you have speeed of modulation depth etc this can be applied to any aspect of a sound.

Be specific and I will try to help best I can
