it's about a group of latino skaters from south central L.A. and it's kinda like a documentary style, but it's scripted. it's like a day in their life and they go skating and end up in beverly hills and all this random happens. it really is a great movie i keep meaning to order it on amazon because i want to own it.

oh and larry clark wrote kids and wassup rockers

Saw that one, too; on IFC, I think. Not one of my favorites from him. Then again, Teenage Cavemen wasn't anywhere near decent.

I've seen all Larry Clark and Harmony Korine movies, but I've yet to collect them all on DVD.

the only thing that was kinda "eh" about wassup rockers is that it starts to get a tad bit unrealistic in an otherwise documentary-ish "realistic" type of movie. like the part when they hook up with the rich white bitches lol

but it was still very entertaining and the part when he's in the room w/ the rich bitch and she is asking him all those questions, it's a strong message there about the bond they have. it was cute. it definitely depicted the difference between the meaning of friendship between them and the phony beverly hills people.

This movie pisses me off.

After this movie came out, I've had to endure a number of people I've met ask me if every single kid in NYC are just like the teens in KIDS. Not all of us are druggies at the age of 10-11. Not all of us are HIV Positive. A good number of us were just normal kids growing up.

Kids was also a ty movie. It really wasn't that good.

side note: Rosario Dawson grew up 1 block away from me. I didn't know until I read a bio about her a while back :toothless

/end rant

You're so whiney. It's a good film.

One my friends from college was friends with one of the girls in that bedroom scene.

:haha: :haha: :haha: :haha:

It really wasn't good at all. For all the hype I heard about kids, it was a big letdown when I saw the actual movie.

this thread is turning into the "ive seen this movie, oh and you should check out this movie too".

which to me means this thread is going to be expensive for some of us because lots of these movies are ones you want to own.

what about run lola run? such a good movie

Cool movie, quite realistic depiction of youth nowadays and the way they act and think. Which is sad, really.

As for virgins, I prefer girls with some experience over them.
It's better when girl knows what she's doing at least to some extent and you don't have to be slow, careful and all that.
Also, in most cases they already know what they like and have a more open mind, not everything is new to them.

Oh, and I'll always remember my first.

Havoc was a good movie. Anne Hathaway plays a hot slut and shows her .
