I would say most of my Education through School / College was useless , at the age of 14 I could repair a computer from my own ability to learn , but sitting through hours of French and German classes for 5 years and now not being able to spell or speak either language just shows that the Education system need reviewing , Im not sure if you had to take R.E Religious Studies but we had to which was another major waste of time.
I say Maths , English and Science should be taught in more depth with more revelance to everyday life issues like how a car engine works and how to write a professional letter or CV rather than reading about some poet who died in the 60's.
As for College , all we did was surf the Internet which was an actual lesson it was called " Internet Research " , then we played Half Life 2 on the college LAN and also installed Napster. We had a few assignments a week e.g create a calculator in Visual Basic which took 10 minutes.
I looked at University and I looked at the contents of the course , I could already program in JAVA so whats the point of re-learning it. |

^^^^Depends what you do really. Doing something like Arts is a ing waste of time and effort.
Doing science or engineering on the other hand....good luck with that one. It's bull hard. |

| It's what u make of it really. I hated High School with a passion but depending on what college u go to and major for that matter, it should be good times. I had some hard times, but overall, I think back all the time to a lot of good times I had. Just get the damn degree so your better than some HS dropout when it comes to job hunting and getting an interview. Sadly any degree except a phd is getting worthless and u need your own skills to make it. It seems better to pursue an athletic or acting career since everyone has a stupid degree anymore. |

The only way college sucks is if you're ugly.
So I'm assuming, you're ugly.
Otherwise, you'd be meeting a ton of people and going to parties and having fun all while pulling the all night study sessions the night before a test and living off of no-doze on test day. |

Maybe in America. The rest of the world doesn't so plainly live off the little bull High School groups they seem to pioneer.
I've seen dead ugly people be the life of major parties and the best looking people barely being noticeable. It's all about how you act. This whole obsession with looks is retarded. |

I didn't say anything about the High School groups. Actually the Uni was AWESOME, because everyone had fun together... there were no cliques, at least not in my Uni (for the most part). Everyone got along together. I met all sorts of people and had study groups and had an awesome time.
And I was joking about looks. Clearly you didn't catch that. |
