Isn't that like, grade 9/10 math?? |
9/10 grade math is x^2 only
x^3 is a whole new ball game
that site is fine and got my answers but if you attempted it yourself as you can see it just does the big ol' ax^3+bx^2+cx+d = 0 formula for the three unknowns. I want to stay away from that ugly thing because I know there is a way to do it otherwise.

If x=a is a solution, do Polynomial Long Division :
Ax^3 + Bx^2 + Cx + D / (x-a)
You will get Ax^2 + Bx + C = 0
solve it with

this might be fine but I'll need some more time to figure this. Later tonight I hope |

hmm thats something (cardano method) I see too many methods but this looks fine. I wonder if anyone could break this up the old fashion way if possible but if not then I will stick with this.
PS.what program or website did you use. :) |

This is as far as I got in factoring...
-x^2(x-16)-(73x-99)
73 is a prime number. I can't get this down any further without using some crazy method and making it a decimal fraction. Use the Cardano Vieta formula. |

But the internets stops all scary...not figuring it out on your own! |

Uh, maybe if you were in the retard class. |

Does the problem instruct you to factor the equation? Or is it up to you to figure out which method?
If you're supposed to factor then you copied the problem incorrectly or there is a typo somewhere because you can't factor that one. |
