I feel bad for the out-of-towners... There's someone on another board that came from the Dominican Republic for this... It's pitiful the I'm hearing... I got a text like 4 hours ago saying they finished their liquor and ice at the Coney Island event. And there's not even an official statement about any changes being made. They're just kinda assuming everyone is on Resident Advisor or Rhythmism all day long. |

it's safe to say a buncha ups organized this event and ed up royally.
thank god i didn't shell out any loot for this disaster of an event lol |

| very ambitious of the organizers, i must say. Especially in New York City with all its red tape and the cops/government officials being incredibly biased toward EDM events. I mean, concerts go on in NYC, and specificaly on these Coney Island stages all the time! Props. if there is a next yr it will most certainly be more organized than this. I may consider checking this out next yr if they bring it back again. |

While there are definitely a lot of negatives... I still feel like I have been having enough fun to get my money's worth.

Yeah, I'm sure the music has been nothing short of phenomenal! I'll definitely go if they do it next year. I'd say Randall's Island is probably a safer bet than Coney Island. Doubt they'll pick anymore manhattan venues after this year. Again, not sure why the local DJs spinning didn't let them know about the 10pm limit for outdoor music events or the NYPD situation we have here. Always around to give you , never around when you actually need 'em...
They should consider utilizing more of the underground techno venues around brooklyn next time around. |

| well FINALLY got there at 930 last night and just walked right in, no ticket needed! was groovin to tiefschwarz and hearthrob..... was waiting for magda to come on at 10 but they shut down the party and i was a little mad cause it was supposed to go til twelve but i should have known better given the set up, the organization that it would end at ten like every outdoor party in NYC. got some cool pics with hearthob, troy pierce and ali tiefschwarz which i will post tomorrow! let's see what today brings |
