It's not even a matter of failure, the way I see it. A life with no goals whatsoever seems to be such a meaningless and empty enterprise that, unless you detach yourself from reality (much like saints and monks in general), I can't see how you'd go on doing your chores day by day without feeling the urge to throw yourself under a bus.
What are you supposed to do if you don't have any dreams? |

But the most important thing in life is to decide what's important in life. So even if you don't have dreams, decide what things you value the most and invest in that. |

this is basically my outlook. even though i have no real dreams/aspirations the important things in my life are friends, family, tunes and anything else that makes me happy or i have fun doing. having said that i am 2 months away from graduating as an engineer but i never considered becoming an engineer a dream |
