I’m behind France and Belgium for this summer, I’ll have to root for the U.S for obvious reasons. If they do well the popularity of the game will perceptibly pick up south of the border and that will undeniably have a positive impact up here as well….

On the contrary, I think Argentina will win the cup.
I would've cheered for Italy if Roberto Baggio was playing(he is my favourite player of all times), but since Trapattoni didn't pick him(even though Baggio is better than some of forwards and midfielders on the team) I'm going to boycott Italy.
I have no particular reason to cheer for any country(except for Russia - my homeland, but cheering for them is pointless they are probably gonna lose as always), so I'm gonna cheer for team that plays most beautiful soccer.. This team will probably be either Argentina or Brasil. We'll see. |

| pisses me off that the #1 midfielder in the world David Beckham, wont be in his 100% shape :disbelief i want Argentina to win, i wanna see Bati-Gol raise that gold trophy :) Luis Figo should put on a show, with his young talented team..dunno about Italy, they've been quit for some time now, but they are definately 1 of the teams to win ;) Brasil is a bit shaky nowadays.. |

How Holland didn't qualify is simply beyond comprehension.
Canada is not in it but you have a Canadian 'soccer slut' playing for England. His name is Owen WHOREgreaves, a little peace of **** from Calgary who opted to play for a country he never set his foot in. People like this should be executed!
Canada's got a pretty solid team nowadays, they beat Switzerland 3-1 in Swiss a couple of weeks ago. I'm sure they'd do much better than Tunesia, China and a couple of other countries...
