Why didn't they use Viagra to keep their stock up?

having worked in the financial industry the last 5 yrs i knew Lehman would fall hard. However i made my money off them :) i had quite a bit of stock in the company when earnings were huge and got out just about 2yrs ago.

if you guys are interested in this stuff go read "The Creature from Jekyll Island" it will explain why Lehman tried to get away with high risk loans with big yields. The fact that the gov't isn't bailing them out is a huge 'fu' to Lehman because practices with similar hedges have been bailed out in the last 6 mos.

FDIC can take forever to get your money back though. I can't wait for 10 years to get my money.

FDIC has about $50 billion to cover over $1 trillion in deposits. ever try to throw a hot dog down a hallway? you're better off going with a bank that isn't on the verge of collapsing.

My sister was an analyst at Lehman, but luckily for her she left about a year and half ago for another job. She still had some stock though, which I last hear was at $.18. :wtf:

In the backyard of house here me and wife have stored away 30 Grand in wood chest that is lined in metal with plastic liner 5 feet down. I just dug the area to check on it today to be sure cash wasn't rotting on use. The cash was fine but wood chest decayed and metal starting to rust but the plastic liner is in great shape. So put in in new wood chest with metal liner and second plastic liner to be safe. We did that in case if some happens we can survive off it and all.
