just moved back to Chicago

| After a 5 and a half year stint in Toronto, I just moved back home to Chicago and im eager as to explore the house scene here. Toronto is incredibly wild and Im wondering what places here can compare to the likes of Guvernment, TiL and Stereo(Montreal).. last time i was here, WhiteStar was the .. so im hoping u guys can guide me to some underground beats and bangin women? |

You've encountered in this thread the most pessimistic people who post in here.
Although some will claim the scene here sucks or "is dying", I'd have to disagree. Venues like Spybar and Smartbar are continuing to bring in reputable acts month after month, whether it be the Electro House DJ du jour or a up-and-coming techno DJ/PA. Sound-bar is a bit more on the trendy / commercial side judging from my experience, although I haven't been there in quite some time so I can't say with certainty whether or not this is still true. Vision brings in the biggest names / superstar DJs / etc ... and are primarily responsible for the organization of the bigger events in outside venues.
Also - Sonotheque, Metro, Lava, etc ... have nights as well.
