Not that it justifies the actions of the hackers, but what the hell was she thinking using yahoo mail for official state business?

Not as ed up as being given a subpoena and then deleting all your e-mail records instead, right?

I'm not sure about US law, but it's probably illegal to do that, at least it would be in Sweden (and considered a serious offense). Since there's the freedom of information laws!

Depends if she's doing offical business or not I suppose - depends their IT security policy.

If it's just personal stuff or 'light' emails I don't really see a cause for concern.

People tend to use their work email for a lot of stuff that's not work related too however if the company needs to, emails can be reviewed...

if she's recieving a subpoena from an official investigation into her office and it's common knowledge she sometimes corresponds with her staff through Yahoo as well then there should be little reason her Yahoo's couldn't be recovered as well. there may be a seperate and/or maybe higher legal standard but what's the difference really when a Grand Jury is involved?

and haven't you barfed all over this board before about certain invasions of privacy and how ed up that is? i mean you've sounded before like you have a pretty low tolerance for that crap, right?

what makes you think you're not being a little hypocritcal about all this? it's because what she believes in personally other things DJ Shibby doesn't believe in thats why. petty. petty and hypocritical. ur welcome.
