right.... i havnt read all the thread cos it bored me reading people writing non-sense!.... so hare IS the lowdown....
you listen to oldish house music.... its made up of drums and hi-hats/snares... giving off a dumm tss dumm tss dumm tss dumm tss.... sound, and house is generally a fun type of musoic to listen to......
.... hard house.. the same thing dum tss dumm tss... but only faster..... or indeed HARDER hence hard house... it also still has the fun elements to it. ....... SORTED!
trance.... music that quite literally puts you 'into a trance'. trance has a dumm dumm dumm dumm, bassline.... it has well constructed rhthms to trancify the listener........
... hard trance.. exactly the same... only the beat has an offset beat to it,, so it sounds like dumm wahh dumm wahh dumm wahh dumm wahh!!...... this causes it to sound harder.. also hard trance has harder riffs and harder sounds, but still trancifies the listener......SORTED!!
techno.... techno is even harder than hard trance... harder b-lines, ruffer riffs/rhythms.... it has no trance elements or house influences... it has its own HARD ROUGH sound.... im not sure why its called techno, but my interpretatoin of it is... techno.. derived from the werd 'technology', techno, is made up from lots of futuristic fukked p sounds all looped together, technology is associated with 'the future' in my opinion, so techno.. to me... means futuristic music!! sorted!
acid trance.... this is basically trance with acid elemants in it... ie trance with a 303 on top of it.. wether it be hard edged trance.. or lighter trance.... as long as it has a 303 on it and it is trancy.. it is acid ttrance.... I.E. kai tracid. he plays/produces both.... hard and soft acid trance..... SORTED
hard house = lisa lashes, tidy boys etc.... butthe problem is.. hard house has a trancier edge to it, so it is harder to define
hard trance = scot project, DJ wag
techno - tuneboy, technoboy etc...
acid trance = kai tracid.. warmduscher etc.
well thats my input, wether you agree or disagree, it is pretty much the truth. :) |

this threat is really gay!!! who really cares if it´s hardtrance, hardhouse or techno??? there´re all great songs that counts!! every1 has a different taste so for some ppl is beam vs. cyrus techno and for others like me just hard trance.. if I never heard dj rush before i would arrange(?) beam vs. cyrus to techno, too...

| As i've just discussed wiv Nuk i dont think Technoboy is Techno, he is definatly Hard Style. And as for this notion of, oh it has a really hard bassline, it must be techno. That is bollocks, its about the structure of the song and the sounds encompassed within it, not just how hard the bassline is. |
