Religion where you live

There have been many threads about religion (how life would be without it, how full of win/fail it is, and the like), but I don't think I've ever seen a thread about religion as it is where each one of us lives.
Brazil is a deeply religious country, and being the capital, Brasilia is no different. Even if you don't follow a particular religion, you're supposed to be religious, and that gives rise to a legion of people who pick beliefs from a couple of religions (or more). My own family is no exception: they openly claim to be both Catholic and Spiritualist (except for me and my brother, both atheists).
According to some recent research, atheism is quite uncommon here in Brasilia, actually, even among those with higher education (instead of becoming irreligious, as often seems to happen abroad, the more education you have, the more likely it is for you to become a Spiritualist, it seems, as it claims to be scientific ).
What is it like in your city/country? |

Canada is pretty diverse, a mix bag of all religions.
I live between a Jewish neighborhood full of Kabbalah centers and Synagogues and an area full of Presbyterian churches/centers. |

Most people in my city are Catholic.
Most non-hispanic people in my city are some kind of Protestant, usually either Baptist or Presbyterian. |

I've heard surveys claiming that Sweden is the most secularize country in Europe right now. And the Swedish state and the Swedish Church (Christian Protestant) actually separated in 2000.
Elderly people in Sweden are still quite religious, but the youth is really, really NOT (except maybe in some rural areas still).
I'm not religious in any way and I really like that religion is pretty much left out of our political system, but what really upsets me about this country is that it seems like 99% of people my age (20's) think that every religious person in the world is a complete retard by default, or just "uneducated". Gotta love the respect for the different-minded
There's also quite a lot of Muslims in Sweden right now since we take care of a lot of war refugees from the middle-east and such. And the integration of them into society has not succeed very well.. (as in most other countries) |

over here has many forms of christianity from catholicism, church of england, methodist etc, then obviously we have some Muslims, some sikhs and some hindus. Jews are on the whole pretty rare in most of the UK as a big minority.
Our big problem are Jehovah's witness who are s. In the last month they've called around our house 4 times. What gives any religion the right to send their people around to your home and bug you into trying to believe their stupid ? |

| they're beginning to really piss me off. It's harassment, especially nearby where there's a lot of elderly people on a street close to us, who are vulnerable and can be taken in by these idiots. I don't mind that they have their beliefs but trying to force it upon us, especially on a near weekly basis, they can right off. |
