The other founding half of Droid Behavior, Acid Circus is comprised of brothers Vangelis and Vidal Vargas.

In an industry where DJ's no longer dominate the action with pressed wax, live PAs have taken digital mixing to another level. No strangers to tweaking and freqing everything within ear shot, over the last 5 years the members of acid circus have constantly displayed the art of techno live performance. Dropping tracks, remixes, samples, mashups, left hooks, and techno grime in and out of the mix has become an ultimate trip in pure crowd reaction at LA undergrounds.

Operating mainly on laptops, they smash the myth that laptop techno is meant for computer geeks to glitch out to in front of their monitors. their live performances are intense, energetic, raw and hype as f__k.

Their unique and aggressive mix of electro, house, and every strain of techno in between has placed Acid Circus alongside major players Adam Beyer, Magda, Speedy J, Richie Hawtin, Jeff Mills, John Tejada, Fanon Flowers, and Neil Landstrumm through out LA's best parties. More then just supporting acts for these world class DJ's, Acid Circus has held their own with captivating performances as well as releases on Droid recordings and DJ Bone's Subject Detroit and earned their recognition and respect as LA heroes.

Besides acting as ambassadors for the LA sound all over California and the U.S., they have been involved with every aspect of LA's techno movement and spearheaded it in many ways. From the online magazine Dnode, to A&R and PR for the Droid recordings label, to extensive event promotion and production, the members of Acid Circus have helped create a social network of DJ's, promoters, producers, and fanatics that all support rather than compete. Acid circus is an integral part of Droid Behavior.

Droid throws the sickest parties. Here's a clip from a wicked beach party that they threw back in July:

Vidal is a homie. That guy goes loco and hypes up the crowd with his wild stage antics.

GET TO THE PARTY, NOW!

Tell him Rene Lomeli says whatups, haha.
