To be honest, I thought everyone else's set on the mainstage was under average! :(
The lightshow/production waaaay outdid the music, unfortunately.
Unexpected highlight was Judge Jules... ripping it up with some techy beats had me dancing hard as well :) |

O'callaghan, tydi, Judge fuuucking jules rocked my ass off in the high contrast stage...I hope he is there again next year.
Armin..wtf were you thinking mate, that was a really ty set. no flow what so ever. He played some good tracks and the rest were not even close to the pace of tydi and o'callaghan.
Ill post some pics up later. Great meeting alot of you. You guys made the an epic night. |

me and my mate planned it out this year when we went and this is what we did and reviewed:
21:00-22:30: Spider willem: start it out with classics to warm us up, nowt special from him though.
22:30-23:30: Joop: was suprised to see him on this early, but still decent tech from him, had 1 banging guitar track, which im trying to figure out on the net now.
23:30-00:30: john O'Callaghan: good to see a prominent irish figure in the scene, as fergie seems to have disappeared these days (well he never did trance anyway). decent set from mr O'callaghan, just wish the Mc could say his name right!! the g is silent you fool!!!
00:30-02:30: Armin Van Buuren: hes the worl'ds no.1 so you expect quality, and well he delivered just that. really loved his mashup at the start
02:30-03:30: Paul van Dyk: smashed it! can't belive it took trance energy this long to book him, but worth the wait. should've of stayed for 2nd half but then again....
03:30-04:30: Judge Jules, say what you want about him. as far as I'm concerned, this guy is a good dj and a very nice guy (iv spoken to him on more than 1 occasion in ibiza btw). And quite simply he smashed it!!! every track fitted perfectly into eachother and the whole place went nuts on the linkin park - numb remix, which was certainly the track of the night. even the mc stopped talking to see him work his magic! Best set of the night IMO.
04:30-05:15: Simon Patterson, decent set, but he didnt seem to be enjoying the experince much. think hes one of those guys whos much happier in the studio than out and performing, as expected it was most of his own tracks.
05:15-06:00: Marcel Woods, always trying to push the boundraies with his music, but is it me or has he slowed the bpm of his sets down. put back to 140 mr woods!
06:00-07:00: Fausto, I love my hard trance, but it ook him a while to get going imo, he was then cut short, for an encore and then the rank 1 anthem, didn't like the last 15 mins being cut up like that, but oh well. was great to end the night on the anthem.
being going since 2006, and after learning from mistakes ive made, I think this even is just getting better and better, roll on 2010!! :toocool: |

Die gast kletst uit zn nek,lol.
Elke dj op de main zoog als een MF maar we hadden geen zin om onze belachelijk grote groep te verhuizen.
We hadden naar de Classic moeten gaan dan hadden we nog wel wat kunnen genieten denk ik maar neehoor,dat deden we niet;p
Maar Armin kwaliteit,echt hoor,die edster dude heeft drugs bij een NLTA weten te scoren en behoorlijk goeie moet dat geweest zijn...

Mja,filmpjes maken al die mafkezen meer dan genoeg en dan geirriteerd kijken als je tegen ze aan stoot omdat je beweegt op de muziek weet je wel.
