This is pretty cool, Alex! I love seeing old pictures of places we're familiar with. I have this great book " Yesterday's Toronto 1870 -1910" Some really cool pictures and stories in it.

There's a really good one like that at my work. I also love historical pictures of places I know. :)

well if they're really gonna replace the area with a bunch of condos I wish they didn't have to make them so generic looking. half the city's condos seem cookie cutter in design as it is..

you have to remember that those pictures are pretty much massing models. more than have of that land isn't even zoned yet. the only projects underway are the ones i provided in the first link. two of them being intitutional and commercial.
