Thanks a lot! New style of mixing for me, so I'm glad it seemed to turn out alright.

Just checked this guy out. 7th Heaven is pretty neat... sounds like it's in 7/4 time (which I assume is where the name came from)... neat! Don't hear odd time signatures in dance music much. I wonder how difficult this would be to mix into, though.

I also checked out Soul Alive (which is nice, but kinda "supermarket-ish"), Natural High (groovy and nice sax!), and Night Of A Thousand Drums (total fire, this would be so fun to play out). Thanks for suggesting this artist!

I ended up burning this & have played it out in the car. It's amazing at 5 a.m., on the way to work, with a mint latte. It's started many a morning out right.

Thank you :)

edit/ You have anything else lined up?

You are welcome, and thank you for the kind feedback! I agree that this is good music for a late night or early morning drive... I was driving to Tennessee last night (out here for work purposes) and the girlfriend and I listened to it on the way when it started getting dark out.

One of the things that I like about this kind of music is its versatility... you can use this music in so many different ways. In the right club/lounge/swanky bar, at a festival, at home... you can dance to it, or just sit back with a drink and close your eyes and groove to it. That's why I wanted to put together a mix like this... the tracks are just class.

I don't have anything else "lined up" yet necessarily, but I love mixing and I've really been into this kind of stuff lately, so I'm sure I'll be putting another similar mix together shortly. In the meantime, feel free to listen to my techier/more progressive "clubby" mix which you can get to by clicking my sig picture, if you're into that type of sound.

Once again, thanks!

And couldn't have said it better myself.
