Zinc bar closing down?

| I saw that the Zinc Bar is closing after this weekend? |

| yep. I hope they open up something with a more open mind in terms of music. They barely ever brought in any guests and I was still hearing party all the time when I went there a few months ago. BUt I doubt anyone in this town will push the envelope in terms of different music any time soon. |

| I doubt anything will open back up with the shape the economy is in. Nothing opened back up after Rhythm & Flow closed and it's in a prime spot. |

| Zinc has alot of history, will be missed.. but I could see it coming from a mile away.. oh well. |

saw Carl Cox there. Dave Seaman also. The same guys owned Icon also... Pete I think his name was. I wonder if they are done with Orlando...

| the guys name are Freddie and david that owned and ran ICON and ZInc. The rumor is that the guys bought out part of that building and is building a "super club". Super Club and orlando just doesnt sound right but whatever its what i heard so figured i would share it. I let you know if i hear anything else |

One of my buddies sent me a text saying the same thing about Icon, so hopefully we'll get a fresh new club out of the deal. |
