Well, some better receivers wouldn't hurt... on Cromartie's int, that dude has got to fight for that ball, he didn't, & the Jest got burned lol.
That said, I'm sure there will be a couple of great performances out of him this year, and that wild 3rd play in week 1 was damn fun to watch in real time. Replays didn't quite convey the drama at that moment. |

| Yeah, against a good pass rush (which they really haven't seen too much of yet), they're swiss cheese. I wouldn't put much faith in them picking up too many blitzes this year. |

San Diego's secondary has some very good players. Jammer the power hitter, Cromartie the wunder kid (most Ints last year/pro bowl selection), and the 1st round pick Cason whos already showing lots of promise. Shame Merriman is out, cause he's the backbone of the entire defence, but with guys like Castillo, Jamal Williams, Phillips, and Olshanksky hopefully this team can be still as dominant as they were the past 2 years.
With Brady out, the AFC is really in the open for Steelers, Jax's, Indy, SD and Denver to step up and take over the reigns as the new top tier AFC team. I still have hope that my boys will make the playoffs and their just off to a slow start like last year.
Plus the Jets really need to step up there game, they have really changed that team around, and even I thought that maybe with Favre they had the experience to take that team to the playoffs, but it doesnt look good for them so far. |
