The tech over @ 1015 Folsom can swap mixers & monitors flawlessly. She does it every time PVD is @ the club.

For those that have to PVD events @ 1015 u have seen this right when PVD gets off & i begin.He brings his own mixer then leaves with it so she must swap out mixers.

hmmm thanks for the clarification. seems that the venue should have the headliner's rider as the main priority.
but what do i know? all i know is that killing the sound (or in the case of Hawt/Dub, playing NIN "closer") can suck the life out of a room. i suppose there will be ways to rectify that in the future. |

nobody ever nails the rider to a T.... you learn that one real fast ;)
besides... i cant see a nightclub installing an FOH mixer with multiple trunk lines just to accommodate a one off show really.
festivals and live venues usually have all this though... so thats a plus. |

Absolutely, I saw Marie did this twice smoothly without any interuption while music was still playing.
