Terry Bones remix of wavy gravy i also think was done in FL & was good. It's about having the skill to get a good sound out of a program and in many cases that doesn't happen simply put.

Rumours tumours: Duvdevani & Aizen used it for ages, correct me if I'm wrong?

FLS has it's own sound to it. which if you where around at the beginning, you may associate with amateur, even now when FLs is as good as it is.

BTW, Sytrus is probably the best FLs has, but the DX10 is pretty awesome too. SimSynth is decent as well.

I don't understand this, aside from kids ing around with the stock sounds... in which case, you shouldn't be using that as an example in the first place.

Neither of those two songs you posted does justice to what is actually capable in FL Studio. Listen to this song by Silexz, it will blow you away. All done in FL Studio.

Not that kind of sound.. I mean the sound that comes from the software. Kind of like how a person can tell what track was made with what program.

Bathe her, and bring her to me.

Anyone who says FL can't produce professional results or that it produces a "trademark" sound is full of .

Guyver (of Serious Sounds fame) and Ozgur Can both used early versions of FL and produced excellent, professional results.

As for uniqueness; Guvyer's sound is pretty standard, but I'd say Ozgur's is one of the most unique I've heard. Just Go With It and Dim The Lights being great examples, though they may not have been made in FL.

You can hear the potential of FL if you listen to some of the example tracks they have to demonstrate the features. Used properly it's very good software. I think there's just too many amateurs who use it to make very cheesy, biscuit-tin sounding stuff, and that sound is what you think of when you think of Fruity Loops.

FL does everything any other VST capable DAW can do.
Of course, doing some things may be easier, while some may take a little bit of work to get to function the same way.

All in how you use it. I love it.
