Used to be Shaq's Arch-nemisis(picked behind him in the draft and 2nd in rookie of year voting) until they won a Championship together. I am sure they became good pals after that. :p
Celtics are hot again going for another 22. Orlando crapped out with that loss. Even the best get tired.
If the knicks win tonight I will move them up in my rating from life support to intensive care. Before they were losing losing losing. Now there are losing winning losing. When you put a bunch of decent players together and a great coach the outcome should be respectable.
Minnesota last 10 (7-3) Season end goal is get above Phoenix :toothless |

Yeah, Shaq's been shooting well from the line recently.
And the MVP so far is Lebron. It's his to lose at this point. |

to think Mark Price and Hornacek were great free-throw shooters all this time :stongue:

-Based on stats only *wade has him in points and assist but not rebounds due to the size factor of 4 inches.
-Based on teams Cleav(1st), Heat(5th) and they have 1-1 record between each other so thats a tie
-40+ pt games (*wade 5, Lebron 3)
-who would you want with 5 seconds left down by two (Lebron: "crab dribble" travel) :p or d-wade(48.0 FG%) |

Oh trust me, I would never vote against Wade. I'm from Miami, son! And he was my 1st round pick in all of my fantasy leagues. But the Cavs have the 2nd best record in the league right now, and Lebron is the reason why. In my opinion, Lebron is the single most valuable player to his team, with Wade, CP3, and Kobe all being a close second.
And I want the ball in either D-Wade's or Kobe's hands at the end of the game. |

If it was up to me I would want MJ to have it but we can have it all. :) Saying Cavs are 1st due to lebron is saying the heat are 5th because of wade. These teams w/o those type of leaders would be bound for lower rankings.
I guess a good question is let's say I have the best stats in the league but on a team with the worst record(i.e wizards hehe only kidding I mean memphis,oak).. would I get the MVP? This primarily is never the case of a sick player on a crap team but if that is so I guess Lebron would get it based primarily on team records.
Lebron: 1st place team
Wade: slightly better stats but 5th place team
One more thing: I guess MVP could be who is the best at their position in the leage(Center, foward, guard..) but has the stats on top of that and strong team. I think that might be a factor as well.
If Chris paul is #1 at point but his stats overall are over wade, lebron with his hornets high ranks he could win but I think he does not have the overall stats as lebron and wade |

My NBA notes for this week.
1. I was angry that my man nelson got hurt but realized this happens all the time. Then I see tonight his replacement Johnson scored 25!...against the clippers :o
2. Kobe(61 pts)socring only, Lebron(52 pts) cheap triple double with that final reb with 2 secs left, Piece, Allen & Garnett(10000 pts) :toothless
You think when D'antoni coached these guys in the Oylmpics he knew some of their tricks to stopping them.
Damn my underdog Minnesota is back at its losing ways! :whip:
Gotta catch the Suns!!!! |

Yay for Lakers beatinc C's (really didn't think they would do it, but they did), Cavs are the next victim.

1. Uh ohh Stephon is back!!With a lifetime avg of almost 20 pts/8 ast the Celtics do it again with a great aquistion. I won't say anything else until they make it to the finals. This year there is def more competition in the East.
2. Pistons won without Iverson tonight!
3. Lakers lost boo freakin hoo but too a decent Denver team they might see in the playoffs.
4. President rooted for the Bulls and well got his Hometown team handed by his new hometown!Wonder if the he would of gone if they were still called the Washington Bullets:p I miss Manute Bol!!
Shaq had 45 :eyes: Someone decided not to double team him in four years.
Will Knicks make it to D'antoni goal of 40W with Playoffs? I say hell freakin no. They got names but still the chemistry is not working quite yet due to mass changes since the season begain. I am sure if your go to guy is playing for the heart of Will Ferrell there might be a problem.
