My Review:
When will Above & Beyond let go of No One on Earth? Satellite? and Sky Falls Down? That remains a ing mystery. As gay as the album poster is, the 2CD (and 1 DVD in enhanced version) for $15 wasn't a bad deal. The album has good mixing but that track selection is not impressive at all. My rating is 2.5

My Review:
Everything lacking in Anjunabeats 100 can be found in Amsterdam 08. But you can't really compare the 2. Why? well simple. Above & Beyond are more into mainstream fluffy trance now a days and Markus is more into dark deep proggy stuff. This album, not only has fantstic track selection but the transition from one track to other is just un beleiveable. My rating 5.

My Review:
Vandit is one my favourite labels. Jon O Bir is one of my favourite Dj. I was expecting more from this album. It has good mixing, track selection and flow is alright as well but i don't know ... it's lacking that VANDIT kick. Good album to chill with on a rainy Wednesday evening. My Rating 3.

This is Datt's 1st album release and not a bad one at all. He picked good tracks, mixed them well and it shows in CD 1 that he put in a good effort. CD 2 is un mixed. I have enjoyed CD 1 very much. My Rating 4.

My Review:
It is very rare that i listen to other people’s suggestion when it comes to music. And there are very few people to whom i actually listen to when they suggest anything relating to music. Ryan is one of those people. When he told me about Transitions i knew this was going to be a hit with me. John has really done well with this album. 22 cuts arranged in about 10 tracks. You really have to listen to each and every beat to understand what is going on in the album. My Rating 5.

I had waited long for this album to come out and the wait was well worth it. Just look at the tracklist, i mean how could you go wrong with it? Mixing is fabulous, flow is great, the energy of this album is massive. This album pretty much defines what good proper trance is all about. My Rating 5.

My Review:
I do not have a review for this album. You simply must listen to it. Not once not twice but many times. Only then you can understand how massive this album really is. Fleming is ridiculously good when it comes to putting together tracks for a set or a CD. There is a very cool video on google about 78 minutes long which showcases Mr Fleming in studio. He basically remixes a Filterheadz track in that video and explains how he arranges everything. A must see if you are interested to know how Djs go about remixing tunes and what they do in studios. My Rating 5.

My Review:
Mr Askew has been busy lately. Touring around the world (including a date in TO), managing his label Discover records and being a influence on many. Askew did well with this album. A few of the tracks i am not fond of like Lift
And Exactly and whats with having 1 track coming up twice in an album?? Yea sure its a different mix but just pick 1 thats fits in the best. I don’t know, i like the album but i think Askew just sort of rushed this one. My Rating 3.

Ok. Easy now. Calm down y’all. When i saw the tracklist and saw Tyas name i was also like WTF. Then i got the album, immediately put it on and realised DAMN!!! This is good. Heart to Heart is fawkin massive. So is Pretender and Infinity Passage. When all is said and done, this is excellent work done by Tyas. My Rating 5.

You gotta admit, no one knew we could see names like Mat Zo and Kyau & Albert on a CD from Max but hey, anything can happen. Cycles is everything a fan of Max can expect from him. 2005 was monster year for Max and since then i have heard nothing but quality from him. This CD is a prime example. Well done Mr Graham. My Rating 5.

Mr Askew at it again. This time it’s his artist album. First 20 minutes of the CD are just hard to understand but then rest of the album is just plain out retarded. It is amazing how Askew puts together everything. I highly recommend this CD but i also must tell you, do not expect this to be like Live As... series type of mr Askew. This is different, very different. My Rating 5.

I have mixed feelings about this one. Parts of this album are really kick ass but then at some parts Armin just lost me. If you are a diehard Armin fan you probably are in love with this album. My Rating 3.

Long waited Mirco de Govia album released Apr. Well, long waited for me because I loved Chronoscale (2003) and this dude has been one of those unsung hero of trance.
So I was expected typical Mirco de Govia's hands in the air epic trance... Boy, was I disappointed. This is really an artist's album, as in it's not for clubs, but more for home listening.
My first listen was disappointing, but after giving it a second listen, I can really feel Mirco de Govia pour his soul into some of the tunes. A lot of it is not trance, but chillout, ambient stuff. It's touching. It's dramatic in sense that it gets to your head. To me, it felt like I was walking through a lush, verdant forest
I can see this as best after club sort of chilling out album. The tunes won't get you dancing (except maybe Asarja and Vital Spark which did see some time playlisted by various DJs)
Definitely worth a listen. 3.5/5 |

Now my understanding is that Sascha Funke is a minimal/techno/tech house DJ/producer. So when a buddy of mine highly recommended this album to me, I wasn't sure if I'd like it. Well, because I expected a lot of minimal.
To my surprise what I listened to was another mellow, ambient and chillout album more on progressive end with some tech house influence. Lots of synths and warm and fuzzy pads. Almost reminded me of a cross between older Moby and Gui Boratto's Chronophobia. (I dunno how that computes in my head)
Again, another one for just those after club chill out sessions, or you just want to relax to some tunes. Nothing banging here, but works well for relaxing atmosphere.

Lange... I dunno. I gotta give that album a good listen but his latest productions didn't really impress me.

totally agree :) ... there's only one track missing on it, and that's "Innerspace 2008". The original is one of his best for me, and I totally like the 2008
