why people decide to migrate without a visa or permit into the US by illegal means is beyond me. the quality of life for an illegal immigrant in the US is atrocious. Eventhough most of you might think of central america as a very poor and uneducated hole, most of the people are 'happy' with their low standards of living. For a philantropist, a trip to any central american region outside of the capitals will bring a very refreshing sense of 'going back to basics' per se, while most people live in tiny huts, cook their own food and go to church every sunday (no exceptions) their attitude is vibrant and optimistic. They don't drive vehicles and probably don't know how to read, but some say that ignorance is bliss.

A hard worker is not hard to find in those regions; a great opportunity for many companies to outsource and generate more jobs.

lol the talk about llamas used most of the space in the pages.

Regarding the "rave del castillo" I don't know if its still being done. Its a 3 day rave if I'm not mistaken, can't remember where it was done in antigua or in panajachel.

Anyway Guatemala FTW

you sneaked cocaine into Guate?

I figured the cartels had dropped that since they could transport tons of their goods via homemade mini subs

Not really, mostly locals.

I've never gone to one, but it's supposed to be pretty good. Imagine Creamfields but with no-names and in the middle of the woods.
