So...yep, I actually made it out for this. Wasn't intending to, but after making a deal I couldn't refuse I had no choice. I'm not going to lie.. I had a blast. Sure, crowd is always an issue, but after venturing to Guv for years it's not as intolerable. Caught the last bit of Cosmic Gate who brought back some memories of my first trance loving days; love those classics. They were crowd pleasers but they weren't as bad as most people have mentioned..
Marco V... has me eating my words. Wasn't expecting to enjoy his set at all, but it was surprisingly good. Nothing superb, but memorable to say the least. The whole night I kept asking, "Who is THIS?!" I can't recall ever hearing Marco V like this. Tech-trance or even trance was somewhat lacking in his set.. and a more techier sound had taken it's place. Lots of bangers to start off.. I understood the direction he was taking his set the whole time. And then came the uber trance classics.. <3
Guv hasn't left a bitter taste in my mouth for a long time now.. I hope this streak continues.
Got to surprise everyone; I forgot how much fun the trance crowd can be...

I think I know what remix of Simulated Marco V played. I believe it's the Jonas Stenberg Remix. Lot of talk of his remix around but I haven't heard it myself... unless we alll heard it on Saturday ;)

And Jonas Stenberg's Original you mention Enhancer... I think that's the one I mention earlier in the thread, but I called it Enhanced. I won't know for sure until I hear it again, but that new Marcel Woods compilations looks mighty tasty!! :D

Got there around 12ish to see Mr. Nuera rip it up in the acid lounge, good job Andrew. Went out to see Cosmic gate and I can't complain, def better than when I saw them at the Docks last new Years. Played some great trance.
Marco V though, wow, this is why I love him. From when I first saw him in 2002 when he played "echoes" to the style he is using now, always has those driving bass lines and fist pounding action. I though his flow was great, hes not prog people there is no story to tell, just the one of one hell of a party and killer tunes! Remixes were sick, could not have asked for much more, wish I heard some more classics but def not complaining.
The crowd at Guvy sucks my balls, so mant fights holy , people need to loosin the f*ck up, seriously. I remember the good old days where you could dance and make friends with all the people around you, not anymore......
Loved having the group of friends going Bonkers all night. Such a good crew out for this.
in the end....Marco V is still the F*ckin man!!!!
