Went to the show. $30 at midnight? c'mon.
I've seen Sharam/Dubfire/Deep Dish close to a dozen times. Maybe I'm getting old, or cynical, or my expectations are too high, but this set sucked...unless it got fantastic after we left, around 1:30 am.
I am looking forward to the Hernan show on the 19th, and if it underwhelms, I'm not sure what to think.
Reviews? Am I wrong about Sharam's most recent SD set? |

I went and wanted to check out Sharam and finally get a chance to check out the venue.
Well just so happens my list of names that i emailed to the list never made it. It was a shame because we were going to be the last ones since it was 10:55 or so. Well like my luck my iPhone had taken a on me a few days prior so i had a cheap phone where i couldn't show the girl that i actually sent the names to the "[email protected]," but if i would have had the stupid phone i would have shown her the email. Since i couldn't do that, she kinda freaked on defense mode saying it happens sorry i cant do anything blah blah blah. I knew the situation so i didn't care and i told her its fine just so she could shut up.
So it was automatically up to 30 bucks, but i am not a ing stupid mark that is going to drop that much cash to watch Sharam here in SD. For one just like the person above me ^^^^^^^^ mentioned his set wasn't going to be anything that great. I already knew that before hand, so it wasn't worth for me the 30 bucks. If it was someone i knew was going to be dope i would have marked out and paid the 30, but it wasn't at all.
At the end of the night, we bailed there and went straight to the Kava Lounge. I dont regret that choice for a second, because the music was WAY better then the set Sharam dropped. And for only a $1 entrance fee (it was a charity event so we bought canned food) it was a pretty good night after all. :D
So i guess i now know not to email my list to the giant news letter, i guess that's another lesson learned. |

| Sorry to hear that, I've personally never had a problem with their guest list. But, usually I purchase tix on Groove Tix, choose the will call option and problem solved. |

Yeah no worries, thanks for the offer.
happens i know, that's why i am not mad at anyone just disappointed at the email newsletter list that is all.
I know now next time just to email to the list here  |
