it is in relation to designer suits that cost thousands vs paying a few hundred for an almost identical replica rob.

not being able to buy stuff off the rack (i can it just is a bitch) has taught me a few tricks to save.

you pay top dollar for the material...but most of the mark up on high end clothes is for no reason other than the label it bears.

suits make me feel like a in gambino

As long as its tailored well. Otherwise it looks like a mess.

don't let anyone but an asian man or the old italian who grabs your balls every time he mesures for the in seam touch it and it should be tailored well.

let a black guy touch it and you will look like steve ing harvey.

i have a friend who has that done in hong kong, i'm so jealous. another person i know her boyfriend knows this guy who flies into nyc ever couple months and takes measurements then goes back to hong kong and ships him a couple custom suits for "cheap." another friend of mine got awesome cheap suits in argentina. i believe it can be done. i don't believe in paying an arm and a leg for a suit BUT its got to look good. no cheap / crap material and nicely cut.

personally i only like timeless looking suits and i'll buy from off the rack at nordstrom / nordstrom rack, i've never HAD to really be dressed in a suit all the time so i can slowly go through and pick things up here and there.

the quality of tailors in asia is extremely high. The only thing you have to watch out for is them not giving you the same material you asked for. If you are not vigilant, some of them will try and up their profits by switching for a similar, cheaper material while hoping you do not notice.

mainland china is miles cheaper than hong kong.

I'd like a nice suit for once. Somewhere after the 400th day of wearing pajamas to work, the idea of looking nice for some purpose becomes appealing.

Still, I can totally imagine it being a bit stifling wearing a suit day in and day out. Last time I wore a tux I could barely drive the car.

I did that last week. Instead of jeans and a tee I threw on my nice stuff. I didnt wear a coat though, because it was 100 degrees out. I dont think Ill ever forget how to tie a tie. Its funny how much more respect you get when your suited up.
