just a little shack built onto the side of a strip mall in Shrub Oak, NY and run by 2 old Italian guys. i have never had better pizza. i imagine it's only rivaled by pizza in Italy which i still have yet to try (airport pizza doesn't count although that was pretty amazing as well).

That place looks like it was a former shack...that has had little improvement.....

....But that is usually where some of the best food ever is.

Grimaldi's
Di Fara's
Lombardi's
Tottonno's
Ray's Famous

Unless youve experienced that, you dont know what pizza is.

I was waiting for this predictable "New York Pizza" post. I'm surprised it took so long.
a spoon
yea, pizza and cheeseburgers for life.

O and Mexican food and chicken is excellent.

haha yeah. In Sacramento there is this Chinese food place that I love. The thing is in an older, unkempt strip mall area (the welfare office used to be in the area lol.) That place makes some of the BEST Chinese food EVAR.

i highly doubt anything in there (besides the ingredients) was made after 1980.

truth. i am a huge fan of hole-in-the-wall type places.

i'd choose an authentic dimly lit slighty dirty and falling apart place over a nice swanky lavish restaurant any day.

Also little tiny shack near geogia tech has the best cuban sandwhiches ever.

They are so good and so popular they only open for lunch (3 hours) and then they close the entire day :wtf:

When my a bunch of us go to SF there is this seriously random, holy-in-the-wall place, called Snow Garden (I think that is the name anyways), and every time we go there, they serve us TONS of food. And it is ing delicious. The storefront is like 15-20 feet wide. Really narrow but goes back far. So delish.

Neat. I should go there with Pierre. He has never had a cuban sandwich. My mom only made media-noches when he was here.
