And the fact that this happened in the league that's supposed to rival/outcompete the NHL?

Seems they got a long way to go.

Now Im reading that there was a EMT at the stadium, and for some reason it was called away, and it took 15-20 minutes for it to get back to the stadium. wow...

I'm certainly no conspiracy theorist but it makes you think..

not nice. Reminds me of Antonio Puerta just 13 months ago. Thoughts go out to all relevant people & fans who always take these things hard.

Sadly, human life in Russia has little value, it shows in this case. I read a lot of Russian media, and people die in numbers every day, from the stupidest things. In NHL, there are doctors on standby, and they made a difference on several ocassions already.

Steroid comment was totally uncalled for, most Russian hockey stars dont become so great because of them, but because of the Russian-style training.

I know people that played and still play hockey there. One person in particular has played on anything you can imagine. Asked him if he juiced and his response was "shto?! ah kto ni kolitsa?" (english translation: what? who doesnt shoot up?)

I get it...but roids isnt the reason. Lets not trash the thread with this debate. It also wasnt because he bumped Jagr. The error falls with the league not being ready for such an instance. After the time where a defibrillator was used on Jiri Fisher (wings). You would think that it might be nice to have one in the arena.

There was definitely a lot of negligence involved.

My friend told me something scarily funny about this, that the russians could have conspired this so that the NHL doesnt get him.
