2005 was indeed awesome. Prob one of the biggest TA gatherings of my life but still.. WMC is only lame if u make it so.

| Will be my third year in a row going. Already pricing my flight and trying to figure out who is going in on a condo. Always look forward to wmc cause its beautiful spring break weather and a chance to see a e load of djs all within a few days time. and the girls are sexy down there! |

I've never been to WMC or DEMF, but I think I am going to try and do DEMF this year.
Reasons:
- Close proximity (Detroit is 3 hours from me, on a bad day)
- Recommendation over WMC
- Easier for me to make a Memorial Day Weekend commitment rather than a mid-week commitment due to other obligations
- Possible opportunity to meet a lot of TAs I would like to actually talk to in person
- I'm all about wanting to do the outdoor thing recently, not that I mind the club environment |

Look if you've gone.. than that's fine - you don't have to go again because it isn't an "omfg must do every year till I'm dead."
But if you can honestly afford it, take the middle of a work/school week off, and are like me (i dislike very much the outdoor stuff which is why I don't do Central Park gigs) then you will love Miami.
There is loads to do.
You can party 24 hours straight.
Weather + Good looking crowd
To say there isn't anyone you want to see there - is a crock of . I;ve seen more dj's at a WMC event and never seen them again at a local event.
Every party is raided with fellow DJ's just having a good time like you. Walking down the street you will bump into many dj's. It's a fun event for EVERYONE! |
