I've always had a soft spot for Powell. He stood head and shoulders above hose hillbilly Republicans that he worked with a few years back.
It would be great to see him work with the Obama team.
And, yeah, i think this is the final nail in the coffin for the McCain campaign. You dont come back from this sort of hammering.

it never fails to amaze me that you can be so uninformed and idiotic. first, powell had a duty as secretary of state to do as was asked of him by the president. second, he acknowledged his mistake. third, he unsuccesfully attempted to convince bush not to invade iraq. |

No, he was the voice of dissent in a neoconservative administration, which is why he was not asked to continue as Secretary of State for another term. |
