RADIO UNITY 032 TONIGHT
"Last month's Radio Unity was a one hour Sasha classics special. In August I'm coming back to the usual programming with a one hour selection of my favorite progressive and trance grooves. This time spiced up with some psy-trance vibes. There are couple brand new exclusives but also couple "old ones" from July when there no usual Radio Unity. It is interesting how music seems to date so fast nowadays and there was interesting interview with house legend Chez Damier about tracks (not) becoming classics because the DJs change their selection too often. Read the full interview here:

The August selection features old school trance heavyweights Airwave and BT, prog house maestros Dr.Kucho, Fedde Le Grande, Sultan and Envotion, some pry-trance vibes from Liquid Soul and John 00 Fleming and some current trance sound from Bart Claessen, Max Graham and Protoculture. Tune in tonight on Afterhours.fm and join the live discussion on the Afterhours forum:

RADIO UNITY 033 TONIGHT
"I did recently a guest mix to John 00 Fleming's Global Trance Grooves show which turned out to be a nice success. I've been enjoying John's podcast for years and it's proper underground trance sound is always inspirational. Thus this month's Radio Unity mix is leaning little bit towards that kinda sound. The mix starts off all proggy with a sublime new Sasha production. We soon move into more melodic territory and finally enter fast paced psy grooves. Featured are my heroes like Astrix and Jody Wisternoff, my brand new remix of Art of Trance and new 2011 remix of Winkee's finnish prog trance classic 'Whisper'. Tune in and join the live discussion on the Afterhours.fm message forum."

"Tonight's Radio Unity will be a much more proggy and housey one than usually. This is partially inspired by the set I played with progressive house legend Nick Warren (of Way Out West fame) last weekend here in Helsinki. This sound also reminds me a lot of the golden days of Renaissance CD compilations which still stand as finest examples of the art of DJing. Happy to see the Renaissance Masters series also continuing with none other than Dave Seaman at the decks. Tonight's mix features music by artists like Dousk, Underworld, Gabriel Ananda, Christian Smith and my remix of finnish vocalist superstar Lauri's forthcoming single 'Disco-Nnect' - which hopefully has echoes of the great Brothers In Rhythm remixes from the past."
