Personally I love the snow,
Skiing
Polar Bear dipping
Hot Tubbing in the Cold
Skating Outdoors.
We are so lucky to be able to do these things year after year.
I say bring on the snow, and bring lots of it. |
add taboozing to that list |

On the contrary, it's almost donut time. Best way to start the winter!

Snow flurries in Cwood all yesterday afternoon, and a bit of light falling snow today.
It was great. :) The roads up a Blue were snowy and slippery as in some sections.
First proper snowfall of the year (though still not very impressive). |

And in other news (not really):
| quote: |
Ontario will see its first major winter storm beginning Tuesday night with snow and strong winds. Northern Ontario could experience severely reduced visibility bordering on blizzard conditions.
The system will move eastward towards the Maritimes on Thursday.
Southwestern Ontario & GTA
The Colorado Low will reach Southwestern Ontario early Tuesday evening reaching the GTA late Tuesday bringing 5 - 10 cm of snow to the area. Strong winds of over 60 km/h will accompany the system creating the potential for reduced visibility. Snow will change over to rain Wednesday afternoon but the strong winds will continue. Wednesday overnight, the rain will turn back to snow dropping another 2-4 cm before the system heads eastward.
On Thursday, cooler temperatures will cause flash freezing and icy conditions. As the Low wraps around, lake effect snow from Lake Huron and Georgian Bay could bring a dusting of snow to the area right through until the weekend.
Currently, the impact of the moist Gulf air combined with the Colorado Low is expected to only impact Southwestern Ontario and the GTA causing the snow to turn to rain Wednesday afternoon. This system is still developing and the impact of the Gulf air could be diminished as it approaches the area. If the forecast high of 6 degrees is not reached on Wednesday, the area could see all snow or a rain/snow mix.
