I'll be the first to admit I've complained about alt issues as vocally as anyone else before, but in the end all it does is serve to perpetuate the problem, as the alts inevitably realize they're achieving their goal of irritating people, and it seems there isn't really much that will convince Swamper to change anything (and we really have no right to expect him to).
It comes in waves, but from the perspective of someone who's made the mistake of bitching about a dozen or so too many time sin the past, I'd say the best way to effectively deal with it is just to ignore it.

You got banned for the deadmau5 threads. Stop posting til your ban is over and you won't get banned again unless you violate the rules.
Also, they could institute a "n00b" forum that they must have at least 50 posts in there before they can post outside that. Those usually have the least problems in my experience. |
