In all honesty that is one of the most moving moments I've seen on a TV series ever.
Everything about the final moments creates such apprehension. You think there will always be a way out, and when Blackadder himself finally admits defeat and wishes all his men good luck...
It's heavy but utterly ing brilliant too. The fade to the poppy feilds is also very powerful imagery. |
