French Champagne

ok so i have no clue about french champagne but i got a bottle of Louis Roederer Cristal from my uncle. my mates tell me its a good bottle and that i should keep it for a while, i wouldnt know. i just see all the black people on cribs have it.
what should i do with it? drink it? or save it for a special occasion?
if so do i need to refrigerate it or keep it in a cool dark room?
help me out. |

fridge...it isn't anything special though...black people love cristal and that is too.
all champagne is french btw...if it is not from a specific region it is called bubbly.
edit: i misread you like black people juice...must buy tangueray to complete the negro conversion. |

Cristal is a decent prestige cuvee but I don't really like it. Prefer vintage Krug, or even their NV personally.
You shouldn't keep it in the fridge. Store in a cool, dry place instead. If you've got a basement that is perfect, otherwise the back of a closet is second best. Then when you want to drink it put it in the fridge for a couple of hours to chill.
What year is it? Is it still wrapped or in presentation box? Depending upon the year you might be able to sell it if you've little interested in trying it. |
