I love them, but you bagel snobs out there (read: ny peeps! :p) are so whack about them I am curious of what your opinions are on a chain we have out here (they are across most of the country) in Cali. Any of you been to Bruegger's Bagels? Any complaints?
Again, I like them and find them to be fresh. Some locations are better than others. |

if it is not made in a wood oven it is not a bagel.

Tricia: Well I made it because after talking to Vern, they do not have this chain in NYC. So I figured I would ask the rest of the c0r bagel snobs.
Jay: This one sadly is made in commercial gas fired ovens. One place I used to go to though in Sacramento used a wood fired oven. They were so much better. |
