Paradox Lost
Like many others, I registered in order to get a track ID:

Hey everyone, this is essentially a repost from the thread I produced on a separate forum, but have found little luck in that regard, so I've taken my search here. Hopefully, I'll be here beyond just my time on this thread.

I heard a gorgeous remix of this track last year, in an Oakenfold set, his Queensday mix, in particular. On the tracklist for that set, the remix title for Distant Reflection is simply cited as "unknown remix". I haven't had any luck in resolving this through internet searches, so I was hoping some folks here would help me out. It seems a number of unknown little gems made their way into that set, and this is undoubtedly one of them.

Thanks for your help, everyone.

I eventually came to find out not too long ago that this is actually mislabeled on virtually every tracklisting for this set, as it's actually Peter Martin- Coda, not a remix of Distant Reflection.

My first post was requesting feedback on a track I made a few years ago. The response was quite pleasing so I chose to stay :)

End of the day it serves the yanks intrest to have him tried in Iraq or as they say Eyerak. So Eyerak it'll be. Plus you can't apply western views to an arab situation, which this is. It's abit like saying "I know thats your custom but I'm right and your wrong, by the way I've never been there atall but I'll still pass judgement". I personally wouldn't like to tell the people of Iraq ok the man who opressed you has been taken to a court 1000 miles away and is being tried by laws you don't know ohh and you won't get that much information about it, as the trials so far away. Not that I'm attacking what your saying it's an inteligent point, just that in this case justice to the Iraqi people (by Iraqi justice) is the important thing not international law IMHO.

I just moved to the UK 3 weeks ago, and I seriously miss my old scene back in Cape Town, South Africa.

The style of music there is one very different from where I am now.

Our parties were not the HUGEST ever, but we have a very loyal bunch of clubbers.

Banging uplifting hard house/hard trance and pumping uplifting trance house are the staple diet there.

Top tunes when I left there:

Trance house:

Heaven's Cry - Til Tears Do Us Part (Club)
Dumonde vs Lange - Memory (Original Vocal)
Ian van Dahl - Castles in the Sky (Wippenburg)
Barthezz - On the Move (Dumonde)
Svenson & Gielen - Beauty of Silence

Hard house/trance:

Black Spider - Save Your Life (Warp Brothers)
Public Domain - Rock Da Funky Beats
Steve Blake - Venom (Hard NRG)
Billy Bunter & Jon Doe - Mindgames
Dean Peters & The Edison Factor - The Beginning (BK's End)

I miss it alot :(

If you'd like to see pics, clips and reviews from a Cape Town perspective, goto http://www.rave.co.za

There's a review on Judge Jules' recent visit to CT (My last party b4 I left) and there are loads of clips and pics.
