drugs are bad....mmmkay?
Hey all! just thought i'd introduce myself here. I'm a newbie to the board (but most certainly not new to trance music). Anyways, i've been scrollin around the boards lately, checkin it out and whatnot, and there was a thread that caught my attention about DJs and Drugs (http://www.tranceaddict.com/forums/...&threadid=34682)
. but what about the audience and drugs? anyone get stoned/high/tweeked out before or during a show? I"ve been places where the marajuana smoke is almost more dominant than cigarette smoke! just wondering', that's all. me personally, i avoid drugs, but then again i'll do a few shots of Absolute or something before i go to clubs (until i hit 21, then i'll just drink there! hehehe).

this was certainly not my first, but the oldest searchable post:

| quote: | | I saw him at Rave on the Rocks in CO last summer. Really what I remember about Oakey live WAS him mixing a track, talking to somebody, then fiddling with something, then talking to somebody, then mixing a track, etc. He went on last, fired up the big lasers and it was journey time. Everyone loved it tho. As opposed to Static Revenger, who was constantly fiddling, Oakey wasn't. But I thot it was more due to experience, plus I didn't care, it was Oakenfold. Hey even Carl Cox has said that he PRETENDS to fool with stuff, even tho he isn't doing anything, just cause the crowd likes it. Personally, I don't care either way... Another reason everyone loves Oakenfold is because he always seems to spin what will be popular now.peAce. |
ugh, oakey love...i had posted more noobish stuff earlier, but it got lost in the transition to vbulletin methinks| |

DJ-Krieng, you'll have to insert a midi-out channel and put you melody in that...then it should work
and a question: if you send a melody, but come up with a better later on, can't you just delete the old and replace it with the new melody?
edit: *first post btw*

The US winning a World Cup? The chances are the same as being hit by a cow falling from the sky...it's (almost) impossible, and also, it would be a shame because of a simple reason: most of them just wouldn't care about it!
I believe Korea should win this cup (Brazil has won enough World Cups, :D) - they've got a passionate squad and their game is just amazing, however, it's not very likely to happen. Tomorrow (today for some of you), we'll find out whether they'll make it to the semis. |
