Why must there be some hidden meaning behind the "Armin hate"?
He was a very good DJ 5 years or so back, and has been going on a quick downward spiral since. He has become one of the laziest DJs I have ever seen. It's as simple as that. |

He's made it. His name is now a huge brand. A money making machine. Not saying he doesn't try anymore, but I dunno...
He should get back into the progressive trance. Because that ASOT 2004 disc 2 is EPIC. |

I liked 004: Transparance even more (which is actually spelled Transparence, don't know how they missed it). |

3. Michael Burnes - The Ambience
4. Peter Martin presents Anthanasia - Perfect Wave

Always been my favorite sequence to listen to, but it actually extends pretty well throughout the next few tracks...everything up until Solar Stone's & Scott Bond's track.
Kubik was a decent, but pretty bland opening. |

| This threads actually got me digging up asot 2004 for nostalgic purposes. The guy got me into edm back in the day so I gotta be grateful for that, but I don't like anything he's been doing recently. |

EDIT: Universal Religion 2004...GOLD...Armin's epic year is 2004. No questions asked. That Ibiza set is a classic. Best track on there...Tranquility Base - Surrender. Listen to it in that thread! |

2005 was decent, and the first disc of 2006 was fine, but I think the first half of the second disc on ASOT 2004 was some of the best work he's ever done.
1. Perry O'Neil- Kubik
2. Valentino- Flying (Sultan & The Greek remix)
3. Michael Burns- Ambience
4. Anthanasia- Perfect Wave
5. St. John- Mind Circles (Perry O'Neil remix)
6. Remy, Roland Klinkenberg- Fearless
 |

| Armin won the TA and DJ Mag polls, so there can't be such a big haters club. Just a bunch of jerks with taste who compensate for the lack of substance in their arguments with loundness and harshness. :toothless |
