hey man i feel your pain...im 5'10 and 130 pounds and everyone used to cap on me! callin me chopsticks..(and the fact that im asian) ever since i was little i was skinny so was like this im gonna do something about it...i asked around and it turned out that my friend works at the YMCA fitness center and i asked him if he could hook me up with some lessons and be my trainer..he agreed and i hit the gym..honestly its a little intimidating going to the gym for the first time when your skinny as and you see all these buff guys walk around but everyone has to start somewhere right...the first day i worked out i was sore for a whole week and my muscles were swollen like crazy..when i looked in the mirror the next day i was fukn ripped man ...lol no joke..i was like whoa...after that i worked out 3 or 4 days a week and i was never sore like that first day...but honestly you have to eat]...if you dont feel like it, too ing bad..force feed yourself!!!!] the only way youll gain weight and get muscles is if you eat...the most likely reason why you and i are so skinny is because we have a fast metabolism...that means you and i digest and a faster rate than others..i bet you take a at least 2 times a day huh...thats me right there...i cant eat a lot at one time but i can eat a load throughout the whole day...so work out! and drink protein drinks, you know the powder drinks you drink with milk in the blender...find one with the most protein per serving...if it tastes nasty then uhh...iono..i didnt say it would be easy haha...dont take the pills however...they have bad side effects like heart disease and other crap you dont want in your system...one last thing...muscles repair when youre resting so dont work out every damn minute of the day...you dont have to live at the gym to get big...do it like me work out 3 days and rest for 4 and i usually work out for about 2 hours a day..o yeah and 1 more last thing...dont cheat when youre working out..! meaning...dont use your back to lift and restrict all parts of the body so that you pinpoint the part of the body you want to work out..aite man ...best of luck!

How do u know what the average weight is for your age and height?

This now im almost 17yrs old, 5'10 and 60kg (i dont know what that is in lbs)i know im under weight but i would like to know what i should be.

60 kg is about 130 lbs, so you're about the same size as me since I'm also 5'10. I think I stopped growing when I was about 17-18 and I've been basically the same weight ever since (I'm 25 now). Most of my family have a very fast metabolism, plus we are vegetarians.

yer you gotta eat right :D

like 5meals a day, and its gotta be healthy food, no junk food crap :P

also like most ppl have said ya need to take protein supplement as your body needs it to make muscle. i think 77grams of proten per 100g of powder is good quality. throw it in a blender with a banana and some milk and youre set :)

start taking vitamin c tablets in the morning, theyll incease the amount of protein your body absorbs.

lastly, drink lots of water, your muscles are like 70% water or something.

edit: forgot to add, ive never heard of creatine causing cancer (doesnt mean its not true), but i wouldnt take the stuff unless all of the above isnt working out for ya. and dont take it unless youre over 18 or so.

Whats the "perfect" weight for a 5'10 male? I know that I'm underweight, for sure. I weight about 135 pounds....

everyone's talkin about weight gain in terms of MUSCLE... but if you just want a nice layer of fat (mostly in the abdominal area), drink BEER. beer is like a loaf of bread in a bottle. it's got a ridiculous amount of calories.

pick a beer from the list that suits your weight gain target, and drink a bottle or 2 ever night before you sleep. this is GUARANTEED to work. my friend did it, =P. use this method carefully. it will most likely cause beer-belly, and cirrhosis of the liver, =P.
