I have lived in Europe in the past, and while I agree that electronic music is a bit more mainstream over there, the roots of House & Techno are well planted in Chicago and Detroit's underground culture. In fact, many people (me, included) will agree that Chicago/Detroit were cradles of the emerging 808 culture of such time :)

so... i woke up at noon, grabbed my bag and was ready to head to work. so i am driving to 90/94 and i get a text from a buddy. he's at a bar watching the bears game, and its on my way. so i stop in real quick for a beer or two and to watch the game and then go to work.

i never made it to work and got home by midnight. i feel like such a piece of . :(
