Oh his comment was in reference to black voters? Well...whatever. It could be applied to any kind of voter. Bottom line though, in my opinion, is that there definitely were people voting even though they were completely ignorant on the candidates platforms. Not EVERYONE, of course. But there were definitely some people.

Unrelated, but I wonder what Jon Stewart will do now. His main source of comedy is gone now.

Of course there are people...on both sides.
I think the statement that blacks are more likely to vote uninformed is borderline racist, particularly when there's absolutely no fact behind it.

That was not directed at just african americans....but all voters....and I don't think its ignorant to believe that a portion of the voting population doesn't know about each party's platform and do in fact vote based on stupid things like skin colour.

Imagine, you are born in 1902. And yesterday you voted on a ing touch screen. blows my mind. two world wars, the great depression, assasination of kennedy and martin luther king, the rise of computers and the internet.....so on and so on.

I never once stated that blacks are more likely to vote uninformed. I did however state that almost 100% of black people voted for Obama...which was stated on CNN last night. I would suggest that a percentage of those voters voted for Obama because he was black and not because of his political stance.....there is no way almost 100% of any race would vote for one candidate because they all agree with his political platform.

The fact that approximately 600,000 black people in florida, who were registered to vote in the last election didn't but this time did seems to suggest there is a percentage that voted for Obama because he is black....or for some strange reason they all happened to agree with his parties platform this time around.

Or before now, there was never a candidate that they felt was worth voting for.

You have absolutely no idea why blacks voted the way they did, so to assume more of them voted on race compared to whites isn't appropriate IMO. Tread carefully when trying to make that argument, because it's difficult to draw the conclusion without coming off like an .

I already said that there is also a portion of the voting population that would have voted McCain because he was white....but I think overall Obama would have benefited more from this type of voting...and no its not just blacks and whites I am talking about...I am talking about all voters.
