Today, I am proud to a pennsylvanian. I'm glad our state came through for Obama.
I am even more proud of our country today. It's about time we grew up a bit.
However I am quite ashamed that Alaska is part of country today. I don't know whats wrong with those people up there. Maybe Darren can enlighten me since he spent time there this year, or if by some strange reason there are actually board members from that state. How can you re-elect a convicted felon to the US Senate? And not just any felony. The man took bribes (gifts) from lobbyists. This is the worst crime you can commit as a politician. It's dirty, disgusting, dispeciable. How is it a sitting US Senator is allowed to keep his job after a conviction like that? Our gov't is ED. The man doesn't let any legislation pass by without adding some pork for his home state. He's a joke. And now, so is Alaska. And not because of Sarah Palin.

It's great to see everyone celebrating and being proud Americans and such.
But please, save all your applause and praise until the man actually fixes something in this country.

exactly, and his speech was deff very inspireing and hopefull
but one of the most important things he said was:
"The road ahead will be long. Our climb will be steep. We may not get there in one year or even one term"
i give him credit for not bulling us by saying there is a quick fix, he is honest
so yea its great to see people uniteing and celebreating, i really hope its a start of a new world
but nothing has changed or will change for a while probly
so i will applaude and be happy when change has come

i dont wanna get into an argument or something nor a debate,A lof of ppl asking what is the change? WTF change? the change is from the unsuccessful 8 years we have had with bush, and McCain was planning on goin on that road. Ppl are not celebrating coz Obama won, or theres nothing like ppl are voting for him because he's Black, im hatin on ppl who are saying he won coz he's black. Pppl around the world not just America dont want a repeat of Gorge Bush,i know a lot of ppl will be hating me but whatever, i support what i feel is right and you support what u feel is right and yeah no offense to anyone who likes anyone,we all have freedom of speech and expression, i respect it :)

werd i understand what your saying and i agree with that
and i dont want to turn this into a debate cause like i said before iam not really one for politics, the whole world seems to be backing barack and hopefully this will change our foreign policy, but what you wrote about people here saying he won cause hes black, and on the news i saw all mccain supports sayin they will move to canada now,all this stuff with the kkk sending threats
the problem with the world will probly change but the problems within our own country must be the first priotity and i hope he can change that
