Is it best when starting out to use a dj nickname or your real name?
Or does it really matter? |

| Dosent matter to be honest. If you catch on it gets pretty hard to change your name up for people so just go with whatever you feel you want. |

I think it depends honestly. First of all though, you need to be comfortable with it. I'm not an expert in this but this is my take on it.
My real name is Sebastian Zander. I hate how that pronounces in english, so I don't use.
I've taken these aliases: Daniel DeLarc and Paulo Da Costa.
They are completely random, taken from those "What's Your blablabla Name?". But i like how they sound so I'll use them.

| IMO Seabastian Zander is way cooler than the two aliases youve made up, sort of similar to sander kleinenberg, in the same way that terry ferminal is similar to ferry corsten. I think that would work pretty well, having a name that sounds similar to a superstar DJ. |

I think using your real name shows that you represent yourself and your self expression as a DJ. Using an alis like DJ Cockblocker doesn't say who you are (I'm not saying that your a cockblocker - I'm just sayin')..
DJ names are more of a younger approach to things! Although aliases are great for dj's that spin different genre's - But the name is only good till people figure out your actually dj cockblocker!
