No not at all...North America in general is sooooo influenced by hip shmop and RnB its sad!! When I was playing in Italy and Poland dance music is soo much more recognized and respected, well Europe in general..

Daytime radio supports dance music soo much more and people young n old all listen/like to some genre of dance over seas..

I also saw videos to tracks on TV I never thought in a million years had videos!!! Regular cable folks lol

No edm on college radio?

Most people here don't even know what that means. Yes there are TONS of EDM shows on Toronto's community radio stations (CIUT, CHRY, CKLN). I can't give you many specific shows as they change a lot. Best advice is check their programming schedule. Most EDM related shows happen after 10pm. What you will find is either deep house or Jungle.

CIUT: http://www.ciut.fm/schedule.php
- The Prophecy - Jungle, DnB, Dubstep.

CKLN: http://www.ckln.fm/index.php?option...d=59&Itemid=309

Fave show here is Saturday night's Rinse Out

CHRY: http://www.yorku.ca/chry/index2.htm

Best Show FULLY CHARGED with Rick Toxic.
