Check out my show at http://www.cfreradio.com every Wed from 11 PM- 12 AM. Just click on listen now. UTM is working on increasing their broadcasting range this year. I do continuous mixes of techno, progressive, deep house and ambient music sometimes.

Tonite's show is pure uplifting prog and SOME deep house, so tune in.

Yes! But gone are the days of "Groove Radio". Even most of the good shows are gone. CIUT used to have the Smirnoff Experiance which was ACE and Dark Harmonies for the dark industrial heads. I'd suspect there are less edm shows on these stations as ONLINE radio is better anyways.

I have a bunch of tapes from Dark Harmonies, some DnB and even Paul van Dyk doing the Smirnoff Experience. I'm going to give them to Orko to beef up then put on here. Been meaning to do that for a while.

100.7 was great, ages ago. But as you said, it started to get way too generic to hold my attention, plus they have idiotic MC's just constantly talking over everything.

I miss staying up, and waiting for the change over from ethnic to EDM programming.

If you want to hear variety, and quality, internet radio is the only way to go.

agreed.. I just find there being far less variety these days. Used to love the old GlobalGroove programming with its mix of music styles and experimental hours to showcase new music. I think Jason Palma used to have a show on CIUT (not sure if he still does it) that got me every time.

But like Time2Burn said, some of the college radio stations are still kickin' it tho.

with internet radio growing in popularity and greater access to wireless broadband mediums on the horizon, I think FM stations have their work cut out for them.

Long live Energy 108 (before Corus bought it at it's peak in 98, 99 and turned the programming to e).

I completely agree. The live-to-air MCs should only be allowed to talk once every half hour.
