Hey all ;)
After alot of mp3.com admins mess and a hard drive crash that made this tarck disappear, it's just been approved again. It's a remix for Psylocke's sweet progressive-like trance track (original see http://www.mp3.com/psylocke). This one has got other influences though I think, maybe a little from Push... and some others ;)

hey bud!
ur sooo fast @ producing ;)
here`s my opinion on this great track!:
-the bass could be a bit more continuous.. its a bit 2 `flat` also..
-the percussion is a bit basic.. cud be more original
-nice buildup :D
-nice synthaaaaaaah :D (made with 3xosc?)
-mannn.. i love the main leadddddddd
-also the other synth that comez tru it.. luvely :D
well what can i say.. this sounds so proffesional 2 me :D

jeez, the amount you do is crazy like, 100% on mantis with that 1 lol :)
well, i dunno how u can call it prog, certainly ain't prog any more :)
i think the kick is a bit kinda, well regular, hehe, but when the melody comes in u get lost in that mint synth and kinda ignore the percussion :) style is a bit mike-ish like, but the percussion isn't really.
u gotta learn 2 DJ man, this isn't healthy with these anount of choonz, besides u wanna spin ur own stuff sum day eh :)
oh yea, ur also the ;) addict :p |

you're right, it's not like prog these days ;) but some mikey influences maybe... his push kicks aren't always that 'complex' either in my opinion though hehe ;)
well, if i really like to do a remix or someone asks me, i can't really ship them off with like, sorry i've made already xx tracks this month, nothing more... can i? ;)
I'm a busy bee... and a trance addict... and i spend alot of time on my tunes... but that's what nobody can see unfortunately ;)

WOW! Great work! Haven't heard the original (couldn't find it on the psylocke site), but this is awesome. You are really improving, you're sounding more and more pro :)
I like the bassline, nice effects, and the buildups are great. Only complaint is that I like the ride cymbal better when it's between the beats than on top of them :D |

I was trying to make the track more 'static' by letting the cymbals fall at the same time with the beat, cause I thought it would better fit this style of music... But that's just me of course ;)
I don't know if his original is on his page already at mp3.com, he mentioned he was upping it, but since he isn't a PAS member, it can take a while before his track gets approved sadly enough...
you can grab the original track this way though (just right click and save as) :

Starts off nice. Good kick I think. The strings coming in sound good, nice lead and piano. Anyway there's not much bad to say about this track since the production quality seems to be in order as well as the mastering. Gud job. :cool:

sounds nice as always LW!
but i really think you should ditch software and get some real gear!! because in my view this would improve your tracks dramatically!
to me they all sound like they were made back in '98 simply because the sound quality is lacking, but other than that it sounds great :D
