things that won't exist for future generations

this thread is simple. post something that you have enjoyed during your life thus far that will be totally antiquated/nonexistent for future generations and will probably make you look really in old. if it's not clear, include why you think these things will fade into obsolescence. it can be a material object (16 bit video games), an abstract concept (the acoustic guitar) or just anything that changed your life some how (saturday morning cartoons). if you haven't given it any thought, you probably should. the times they are a'becoming quite different.
I'll start:
road trips
text based computer games (MUDs)
DOS (probably already mind-blowing for some people)
photo albums (everything will be digital)
combustion engine (hopefully)
household/cord phones
hand-drawn cartoons
porn tapes, maybe even mags |
